We attended our first show of 2022 at Lamplight this past weekend. I had the pleasure of riding Georgia Ranthun's and Kim Ferrari's Andalusians in several classes.
The weather on Saturday was very challenging, cold and thunderstorms. Gallito was quite nervous Saturday from the weather. I was grateful on Sunday that he was back to normal and ending his day with a lot of confidence.
Kim's horse, Fenix, has not showin in many years, and I've only had him in training for a short period of time. He has made a lot of progress over these past few months, and I am extremely proud of how he handled himself in such an electric atmosphere. Fenix ended the show with a high score of 67%. I'm looking forward to continued progress on both of these special horses!
